The Women's Committee conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in Odessa

On June 1 and 2, Gevorg Petrossian, Consul General of Armenia in Odessa, participated in the Women's Committee conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in Odessa, which was attended by delegates from more than 20 regional institutions of Ukraine, guests from Armenia and France.

Ambassador of Armenia Tigran Seiranian and counsellor Nune Zastukhova made reports at the conference chaired by Mrs. Anna Gevorgyan, the head of the Women's Committee of the UAU.

David Mkrtchyan, Vice-president of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, Samvel Tigranyan, President of the Union of Armenians of the Odessa region, and Artem Karajyan, editor of the "Armenian News" magazine and representative of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine in Odessa also attended the event.

The participants of the conference outlined the forthcoming projects and their implementation methods.

The conference was accompanied by a great cultural programme. Performances were held by students of Armenian cultural and educational institutions from different regions of the country.
